Ed Lefkowicz has been making photographs for decades, first photographing on film, developing it, and making his own prints. He was an antiquarian bookseller for over 25 years, specializing in rare books, manuscripts, and maps relating to the sea and its islands, nautical science, and naval history. With his background in photography, he photographed his wares for printed catalogs, initially on film, then digitally. He has been a professional photographer for the past 15 years, and has nonprofit, corporate, and editorial clients.
